Every individual is made aware what their available options are, and which treatments will work for them. Family Center for Recovery takes the patients most treatment centers in the United States can’t. Why? Because our facility is the only facility in Florida owned and operated by an addiction psychiatrist.

Our founder Dr. Robert A. Moran is Board Certified in General Psychiatry, Preventive Medicine, Addiction Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and the American Board of Addiction Medicine. 

He was a clinical instructor of psychiatry at Cornell University and is currently a psychiatric resident instructor, as well as a volunteer faculty member for many medical education institutions around the United States. Family Center for Recovery is currently affiliated with 8 medical schools, 3 psychiatry residencies, and 60 physician assistant schools. Since 1993, Dr. Moran has dedicated his life to the study and treatment of psychiatric disorders, being at the forefront of substance use disorder treatment.
