Our Alumni Program

As patients complete FCFR treatment and graduate from patients to FCFR “family” members, they are reminded that in recovery, together we climb. Recovery is never built on the back of one man alone but by the combined support and encouragement of our chosen “family” members and support networks. Studies show that mutual identification can serve as a powerful bonding tool for individuals recovering from mental illness and/or Substance Use Disorder which helps to perpetuate quicker and more steadfast long-term sustained recovery. Alumni is not only a support system but also a way of continuing treatment. FCFR Alumni services allows former patients to build lifelong friendships and give back to their communities.

Meeting Info

Thursdays at 6:30

Location: Clinical Building

7051 Seacrest Blvd. Lantana FL 33462

Our alumni meeting is located at our center in the clinical building. Alumni are provided a platform for fun and fellowship as they are invited to partake in a complimentary meal provided by FCFR, followed by a meeting. Meetings range in style and mental health and recovery topics.

Additionally, we offer meetings for family members of our former patients to engage with alumni to voice their concerns. Topics include but are not limited to; codependency, grief, and acceptance.

*Space is limited to parties of ten or less due to COVID restrictions, and will resume when Dr. Moran, the clinical team and national advisory boards deem public group outings appropriately safe for at-risk populations.*

Alumni Events

*Scheduled events will resume after COVID restrictions permit safety for gatherings in public places.*

Alumni events are designed to assist patients in discovering fun in sobriety and mental health recovery while affording them an opportunity to build positive experiences outside of treatment. Previous outings include; Yoga at the beach, “Art after Dark” at the Norton Museum, bowling, movie night at the theater, various festivals, live music, Recovery Church, serenity at the wetlands preserve, community service beach cleanups, and more.
