When your child struggles with the developmental tasks of adolescence, and you need help, Family Center For Recovery is here to partner with you. Together, we can get your loved one back on track toward a hopeful, healthy, happy future.

When patients enter our treatment facility, they receive a psychiatric evaluation, biopsychosocial assessment, cognitive testing, and numerous scales to determine their immediate needs. Once we grasp the conditions our patients are experiencing, our psychiatrist and clinical team can choose the appropriate level of care and treatment plan.

Many treatment centers do not offer drug treatment for pregnant women, but we believe no one should be overlooked if they are willing and able to recover from drug and alcohol abuse. The Family Center for Recovery has adopted a high standard of medical detox for expecting mothers, addressing each specific need of every patient.

Members of the LGBTQ community have faced unique, entrenched challenges that make it difficult for them to obtain healthcare without judgment or bias. These challenges can be especially pronounced in substance abuse and addiction treatment, especially among adolescents. FCFR understands this and specializes in this LGBTQ community challenge.

Our Medical Director closely oversee the detoxification process for patients who are withdrawing from drugs and alcohol. Our program is designed to keep our patients comfortable and safe.

Residential level of care provides 24-hour medical supervision and support necessary to recover. Our quadruple-board certified psychiatrist identifies the state of the patient and, along with clinical treatment team, creates his/her individual treatment course.

This physician-supervised program is where the patient continues an individualized treatment plan put into place by the medical director and clinical team. Patients reside in beautiful community housing and are required to attend all group and 12-step meetings, as well as any other recommended therapy.

The next phase of rehabilitation is the intensive outpatient program. Patients are required to keep a steady job and attend group, 12-step, and other recommended therapies while residing in comfortable transitional housing.

FCFR provides treatment for any and all Mental Health Disorders for both Adult and Adolescents, and because FCFR is a medical and behavioral facility we are able to treat mental health whether the patient has ever used substances.

FCFR provides Substance Use Treatment for Adult, Adolescents and Pregnant Females. All our programs are tailored to each patient’s needs. Many people who suffer from addiction also have a primary mental health issue. The Family Center for Recovery acknowledges that if both are not treated concurrently, the patient will never heal completely.
